Writing Center: About The Writing Center

Writing Center Information

The Margaret H. Kluttz Writing Center at Hood Theological Seminary provides resources, services, and support to enhance the writing skills of our students. Though the Writing Center may correct some punctuation, grammar, and make suggestions about content, we are unable to provide editing/proofing to an entire paper to completely eliminate mistakes. However, if students are interested, resources that assist with editing and proofing their papers can be provided to them.

*When preparing for a session (1) be sure to allow enough time for us to review your work and have it back to you before the due date, (2) use resources to self-edit your paper, (3) send your paper at least 24 hours before your appointment, and (4) be sure to provide specific details about what area you'd like us to pay close attention to during our review of your assignment.
